The ultra-smooth and ultra-hard finish enables dry markers and chalk to glide easily across the PORCELAIN-ON-STEEL surface with minimal friction. The surface smoothness allows more dry-erase ink and chalk to be removed, improving erasability and eliminating “ghost writing”.

SPECIFICATION
Writeability
​
Can be written on with any dry-erase, semi-permanent, water soluble, permanent marker, pen, or crayon without damaging the surface.
Eraseability
​
Dry-erase marker ink can be wiped off easily with a dry cloth or standard eraser. Crayon, semi permanent, and permanent marker pen inks can be removed with a solvent based or light abrasive cleaner.
Magnet Capability
​
The Porcelain-On-Steel surfaces are ideal for all magnets and magnetic impregnated materials and will not be scratched or damaged from the contact.

Flame Resistant
​
The Porcelain-On-Steel surface is 100% non-combustible.
Eraseability
​
Dry-erase marker ink can be wiped off easily with a dry cloth or standard eraser. Crayon, semi permanent, and permanent marker pen inks can be removed with a solvent based or light abrasive cleaner.
Cleaning
​
Initial cleaning of the markerboard must be performed to insure proper erasure. Clean with EV-1 or any liquid ammonia added cleaner and rinse with clear water. (Erasure problems may occur if the clear water rinse is not done.) Then dry. Best results may be obtained by washing this board like a window with a sponge and squeegee.
Periodically, the board should be cleaned as above. Interim cleaning may be done by sprinkling a dry powdered cleanser on an eraser and applying to the board in a circular motion and rinse with clear water and dry.
To remove crayon, scotch tape, etc... Use a mild solvent or a paste made with scouring powder and water. Best results are attained when the board markers are at room temperature. Use pens designed for markerboard use only and store them horizontally. Keep cap tightly in place when not in use.
